About Me

My name is Ali. I live in Northwest Idaho, Post Falls to be specific. I come from a large extended family that expands from here to Texas. Thankfully, I have the opportunity to travel to different parts of the country to visit family while expanding my business at the same time. I am married to a man who has seen my good, bad, & ugly, & still loves me. I have two beautiful boys, Kyler & Karter. I am in constant awe of them. They keep me busy & I wouldn't have it any other way. Last but not least are the family dogs, Bel & Niner. As crazy as they make me, I can't imagine life without those two trouble makers.

I have always enjoyed the arts & photography, but to be honest, I never dreamed of becoming a photographer. I am one of the lucky few that had her career fall into her lap. Obviously I wasn't born with everything I would need to know so I have traveled through the photography road making mistakes & learning along the way. As any photographer knows, you are continuously learning in this industry. That is one reason why I enjoy this line of work. In the next few years I hope have my own studio to give more options to my clients. Until then, I will happily continue to work with the outdoors & my travel equipment.

Recent events have directed me towards the wedding path of photography. Once again, not the path I ever thought I would go down & to be honest I was down right scared to ever think about doing a wedding. : ) Here I am booking more weddings & all things related to weddings & I am absolutely loving it. Be open to new things & you will discover the abilities within yourself!

I want each session to be as unique as my clients. I strive to bring out the characters in every person I shoot. I don't want to flip through my portfolio & see the same photos with the only difference being the faces. I do listen to my clients & full fill any request, but as the photographer I do like to use my creative eye to give them something they didn't know they wanted. Those are the photos I see my clients adding to their photo packages.
